Two Charged Over Heathrow Alleged Pepper Spray Attack

Two men have been charged following a luggage theft where a believed to be irritant spray caused injuries at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have both been charged with two counts of robbery and charges for deploying a toxic agent, authorities have stated.

These accusations come after an probe of an assault at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Earlier that day, two female travelers had their suitcases taken after exiting a car park lift, police said.

A three-year-old girl was one of the people hurt during the incident. Several persons were taken to a medical facility and were eventually allowed to go home.

The incident – described by police as was isolated and not being treated as terrorism – resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a brief period.
